I very rarely go into Goodwill. I make a lot of donations but I don’t usually go into a store to buy anything. Although I do need a new chair for my desk (LOL)…like an antique looking table chair. You think I could find one at Goodwill? Would they let me buy just one?
But I do love to hear these kind of stories. I think everyone does.
Happened in North Carolina. A female artist went into a Goodwill to buy a sweater. She spotted 2 abstract paintings selling for 10 bucks a piece.
Cheap..especially if you want to buy new canvas so she figured she would paint over them. But one day before she did…she googled the artist….he was some famous painter and each picture was worth about $15 to $20 Grand.
Guess what will be auctioned off in September…LOL!!
