I read the other day the Girl Scouts Organization was trying to get tough on parents who actually sell more cookies than their girls do. I’ll hang my head in shame..LOL!!!
They say how will the girls learn about money , business ethics, people skills, goal setting and decision making if the parents sell the cookies? Again, I hang my head in shame!!!!
But at least I would never do something like this and I don’t think you would either. In Colorado, a popular Easter Egg hunt has been cancelled because last year , parents worried their kids wouldn’t find enough Easter eggs, jumped the rope ahead of time and grabbed baskets full before the hunt even started. That led to other parents jumping over and then suddenly hundreds of parents were grabbing eggs before any kids could get them. Organizers say they’ve realized the hunt has outgrown its initial goal of being a fun kid friendly neighborhood event. SO no more!!!!
And you thought Little League was bad!!!!
