Hard to move on from Whitney Houston’s death. Still taken aback by my reaction but I see I’m not alone. Of all the posts and the messages, I still think Barbra Streisand’s was the truest: “She had everything, beauty, a magnificent voice. How sad her gifts could not bring her the same happiness they brought us.
Her favorite songs, according to an entertainment poll: I Will Always Love You, Greatest Love of All, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Saving All My Love for You and Didn’t We Have it All. Apparently she didn’t!!!
Did you see the Vow over the weekend?. Did you like it? I did, but it wasn’t “The Notebook”. I thought it was slow and maybe it’s because I sort of knew the ending, that I didn’t get all choked up which is so unusual for me. Sam saw the Denzel Washington-Ryan Reynolds movie Safe House. He loved it. I also saw the silent film “The Artist” and was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. Just a tip….Eat your popcorn during the previews and believe me there are enough for you to do it. Because it is so quiet during the movie that I’m sure everyone could hear me eating my popcorn!!!
