It’s been years since I’ve cooked Thanksgiving Dinner for even 3 let alone 10, but it always amazes me when I see this story…that you can cook a Thanksgiving dinner for ten for just under $50. Really? I know my Mom could. We were always on a budget and she was always shopping for the very lowest prices. But is this really possible?
Can you buy all of this….turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls with butter, peas, cranberries, carrots and celery, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and coffee and milk…for $49.20?
The 16 pound turkey is supposed to cost about $21 this year…so that leaves $29 for the rest. You know what’s missing from this meal?
