How many people do you know who aren't on Facebook? Well, My Dad wasn't. But he was 91 when he died. I do have a few girlfriends who have a FB page, but never look at it. You needn't share this survey with them..but see how it relates to you. Here's the age that people are most likely to post about certain topics.
1. Men and women are most likely to post about the WEATHER on Facebook in their 60s.
2. People in their 60s are also most likely to talk about POLITICS on Facebook.
3. Women are most likely to post about BOOKS at age 22 . . . men are most likely to at 50.
4. Men talk about FITNESS and working out at age 45 . . . women at 34.
5. Men post about their HEALTH at 54 . . . women at 43.
6. Men post about TECHNOLOGY at 34 . . . women at 22.

We were laughing so much this morning I'm not sure if we got this all out or not..

Been talking and thinking about Angelina Jolie all day…
You've heard the headline. She had a double mastectomy in April
after finding out she had the BRCA1 gene which put her risk at getting breast cancer close to 90 percent.
For all of us who have lost someone we love to breast cancer, my Mom was 67, we all applaud Angelina for what she did .We so feel her anguish and we are again shedding tears for who we lost.
I have read and reread parts of her Op-Ed piece in the New York Times…and this is the paragraph that so touched me.
"I wanted to write this to tell other women that the decision to have a mastectomy was not easy. But it is one I am very happy that I made. My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don't need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer".
So this last Mothers Day…Angelina gave herself a gift and a gift to her family.
There is no better gift.

It's always fun looking at the list of most popular baby names for the year.
And appropriate too for Mothers Day…
It turns out just like 2011 the most popular names in 2012 were Jacob and Sophia. Jacob has been the top name for over a decade.
Here we go …For boys: the top 10 names are Jacob, Mason, Ethan, Noah, William, Liam, Jayden, Michael, Alexander, and Aiden.
For girls: Sophia, Emma, Isabella, Olivia, Ava, Emily, Abigail, Mia, Madison, and Elizabeth.

Just what is the school of thought on pacifiers these days? I remember when Tori was born they asked me in the hospital if I wanted her to have a pacifier. 3 years later, I was doing all I could to break her of the habit. I even had the dentist tell her she would get "buck" teeth if she didn't get rid of the thing. That sort of worked along with many crying episodes. I used to have an entire supply of binkies as we called them, so that when one fell down the toilet or I couldn't find one…I had another ready to go. Christina was never into them…so I lucked out the second time around.
But don't we all have "binkie" stories…some funny…some not.
It would have been nice to know that when the thing dropped on the ground all I needed to do was pick it up and lick it!!!
We haven't even had Memorial Day yet…and I don't know about you but I have "vacation" on the brain. I am so ready for one, although my trip to Thailand wasn't that long ago. I know your kids are ready. Wherever I go lately and ask a kid how many days left of school, they can quickly tell me the number. Actually teachers know the number too. It's just time, I think for, us all to have a break.

Showing too much skin
Getting your hair braided by someone on a Caribbean beach.
Loud Hawaiian shirts or shorts.
Matching outfits. I confess Mike and I were guilty of this. Too many trips to Hilo Hattie's !!!
Buying a souvenier t shirt from wherever you're visiting and wearing it right then and there.
This list just made us chuckle this morning.

Certain studies just make me smile…like this one…
And it actually just proves what kids have always known…that Dad buys more cool stuff at the grocery store than Mom. I think it carries over to the department store too.
And why is this? It's simple …Dads are much more likely to make impulse buys when they're shopping and they also spend more money than most Moms. I think it's just a male trait!!!
And besides impulse buys, kids are way better at tricking their Dads with lines like "I need to buy this candy for …um school" We Moms know better!!!
The study also found that when Dads go shopping, they spend more than Moms.
Can you relate? I sure can. When Mike was alive and the girls were little or even big they had him so wrapped around their fingers… I don't think he ever said no to them.
But now that I think about…maybe I didn't either…and still don't!!!

I'm wondering though how far Fox will let Idol slide before either making a major change or cancelling it altogether. What do you think? Is it fixable and just how?
