It’s been the law now for almost a month. As you know if you live and or shop in San Jose you need to bring your our own bags to the grocery store, the drug store, in fact just about every retail store. I just can’t get the hang of it. I have to remember. Usually, it’s just the drug store…or some other place where I have just a handful of items and can easily carry them out, but again yesterday.. Safeway….a cart full of groceries…and dang it…I had no bags…not even the lovely large bag Sam gave me to honor our 7 years as Sam and Lissa. Was at the checkout when I remembered, so too late to run to the car. The clerk says to me “how about I just put everything in your cart. You can bag it once you get to your car. Okay..that to me sounded like the stupidest thing I’d ever heard. I had a cart load full of stuff….3 brown bags full….as I learned after I paid my 30 cents!!!! Are you getting any better at this than I am…What’s your secret?
Tomorrow…. fun at work day…Oh that makes sense..LOL!!! We’re wearing jeans. Yep, that’s the best we can come up with… Help us out here….
