I don’t know about you at work but I get a lot of e mails…Tons of them…
I take a peak at them all, believe it or not, and this one really amazed me. Santa Clara County Supervisor Mike Wasserman’s January newsletter.
The headline is “Numbers Don’t Lie, 2012 was a busy year!!!
- 1 New County Supervisor Elected
- 88 Board and Board Committee Meetings Held
- 517 Foster Children Reunited with their Families
- 635 Miles of Roads Maintained
- 1,170 Animals Placed in Homes from the Animal Shelter
- 9,290 Arrests Made by Office of the Sheriff
- 40,000 Cases Prosecuted by Office of the District Attorney
- 55,000 Hours of Volunteer Work at County Parks
- 833,350 Patient Visits to Valley Medical Center and Clinics
- 972,605 Ballots Counted by the Registrar of Voters
- 2,603,830 Visits to County Parks
Also in 2012, I personally drove 12,000 miles on county business, had over 1,000 meetings, and received 32,000 emails.
And YOU thought your last year was exhausting LOL!!
