To my Morgan Hill friends who enjoyed he company of an energetic and entertaining member of the community, it saddens me to announce word of her passing...
Lorritta Bonfante Johnson
December 2nd, 1932 - March 14th, 2013
A Memorial Mass will be held at 2pm, Saturday, March 23rd at St. Catherine's Church, 17400 Peak Ave, Morgan Hill. Immediately following the Mass, Loritta will be remembered with a Celebration of Her Life, at the Guglielmo Winery, 1480 E Main Ave, Morgan Hill.

Pam Aguilar Wow she was my daughters teacher. What a loss. She is in a better place now. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family.
Victoria Aguilar She was my teacher. The best they had.
Linda Ayers Tarvin I think she was Michael's sister. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. I was lucky enough to get to sub with her one day in a team teaching situation at Nordstrom. Her love for teaching and for all those kindergarten children was so inspiring.
Mary Fisher I believe she is a cousin to Michael. Her dad was "Uncle John". What a brave lady she was.
Teresa Jennings She was a great person and teacher!

I was going to spend a quiet evening with no TV until my husband turned on American Idol with all the Beatles songs, mostly moving McCartney melodies. Amber's "She's Leaving Home" brought tears to my eyes! Do some songs do that to you too?

Tuesday Wildchild I get goose bumps from some songs.
Dan Kind "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" by The Hollies hits a nerve for me. "Skyline Pigeon" by Elton John does the same. Very beautiful but melancholy songs.
Sarah Daquino I love the Beatles' 'I Will'. Also sung by James Taylor.
Jona Denz-Hamilton to Sarah Daquino: I re-wrote/personalized the words to "I Will" for my brother Ed to sing at my wedding.
