I tried out my newly-acquired old-school percolator this morning. Call me a coffee-almost-achiever today. I still need to experiment. Some guy on a blog said to use a paper towel as a filter. NOT. It turned out weak. Tomorrow I'll try it the original way--wish me luck!

Last night my 17-year-old Jeff had to have minor, but painful surgery on a toe. Through his adult attitude toward the gripping pain--it hit me that he's becoming a man. SIGH! When have you noticed your kid really maturing? It creeps up on you so fast...

You want to spend some great quality time with your kid--or entire family? Jeff and I have a special Mom/son standing date when Cirque du Soleil comes to town. It's been a week since we went to their TOTEM and my memory is still dazzled! My fave: the Chinese acrobatic ladies juggling plates--hands-free--on their sky-high unicycles! Big laughs for the beach bum clowning from, Jeff. Shows extended through April 15th!
